Throughout its history, the Wellington Fire District has been led by some of our area's most respected individuals. From 1883 to 2005, the position of Wellington Fire Chief has always come with great responsibility. The Wellington Fire Department has seen a great many changes in our culture and in our profession. Renamed the Wellington Fire District in 1970, our dedication to serving the community has never wavered over the years. Time and time again, the department has proven its continued value and worth in the Wellington community. None of this would have been possible without the guidance and leadership of our Fire Chiefs.
